Gov. Newsom Nominates 3 Black Women Judges to Serve on State Courts of Appeal
Gov. Gavin Newsom nominated three Black women — Justice Rashida Adams and Judges Denise Hippach and Juliet Macaulay — to serve on the California Courts of Appeal. Justices Adams, Hippach and Juliet Macaulay are among eight appellate court nominees recently announced by Newsom. The governor also appointed nine Superior Court judges across five counties.
